What's the code of your skin ?

There so many skin colour all over our planet but untill now nobody brought up the idea to link them to PANTONE swatches and catalogue them. Angelica Dass from Brazil did it with Humanae.

With the result of beautiful shots and lovely colours!

The project is still in progress and as written on Dass's site: "[The project] is open in all senses and it will include all those who want to be part of this colossal global mosaic. The only limit would be reached by completing all of the world’s population."

THINK ABOUT THE UGLIEST COLOR !

The Australian research agency GfK was asked by the Government to do so and that for a reason. The color needed to be so repugnant that if it was on tobacco products, it would stop people from smoking! It has been described as “death,” “dirty” and “tar.

Pantone 448C was picked after 3 month of research and multible studies.

WHICH COLOR COMBI MAKES YOU HUNGRY ?

Red and yellow do make people hungry, according to research results. People eat more when they are surrounded by warm colors, such as yellow, orange and red. Cold colors, such as blue, purple and black, suppress the appetite.

Because of the association between hunger and warm colors, red, yellow and orange are used in the logos of many fast food establishments. Restaurants also use red on their menus and surround diners with red tablecloths and napkins to help stimulate their appetites. Eateries may also place yellow flowers on the table to increase feelings of optimism as optimistic people are more likely to splurge on their meals.
